The mission of the Digital Development Center is twofold: in addition to facilitating technology transfer, it also pays special attention to knowledge transfer. Its aim is to train motivated and innovative professionals to use the latest technologies effectively. To this end, Széchenyi István University is an important training venue. Here, they implement their practice-oriented academic courses in a laboratory environment, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience.

The Digital Development Center is also responsible for the mentoring of students’ theses and dissertations, which are an important part of their academic development. It also runs an internship programme, which gives students the opportunity to participate in real projects and gain practical experience.

The institution is also active in the field of adult education, offering flexible forms of training. It offers professional training and other training opportunities to enable professionals to continuously develop and broaden their skills. Advanced training in drone control and data analysis

The two-semester specialised training course aims to provide graduates with the knowledge and practical skills to handle, fly and safely operate state-of-the-art drones. In addition, the training will give participants an insight into the design of drone photography and drone video, as well as modern tools and methods for processing and analysing the resulting data.

As well as theoretical knowledge, the training will also give them the practical skills to use drones effectively in a variety of applications, such as agriculture, the environment and disaster management.

Plant protection drone pilot training

Based on the cooperation between Széchenyi István University (SZE), ABZ Drone Kft. and Cloud for Intelligent Airplace Zrt. (CloudIA), the drone pilot training for crop protection is being implemented in Mosonmagyaróvár, at the Faculty of Albert Kázmér Mosonmagyaróvár.

The aim of the training is to provide a development and progression path for those who have already obtained an unmanned aircraft pilot licence. In addition to providing general knowledge of agricultural drones, the training will also provide an introduction to effective application methods and crop protection background, and facilitate the acquisition of basic agrometeorological and geo-information skills necessary for practical use.
