Virtual Reality in Healthcare – Successful Workshop in Győr
The event was opened by Dr. Balázs Villányi, the hospital's medical director, followed by a presentation from Dr. Péter Prukner on the achievements of the TKP project. Next, Dr. Tamás Budai introduced the VReduMED project and explained the VR-based applications available for hands-on testing at the event.
VR applications used during the workshop:
VRCPR – A CPR training software that helps users master life-saving procedures through realistic simulations.

VR Room of Horror – An interactive training platform that models various healthcare scenarios, such as hospital rooms and nursing homes, where users must identify and correct mistakes.

Participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand how VR technology supports the training of healthcare professionals and enhances clinical practice. Feedback from attendees highlighted the great potential of VR as a valuable tool in medical education, offering realistic simulations in a safe environment for both professionals and students.

As VR continues to gain importance in medical training, this workshop clearly demonstrated its ability to make learning processes more effective and engaging.
