Personal Experience Report from the USA Accelerator Bootcamp

Csaba Németh, software engineer at the Digital Development Center, spent five days in the United States as part of the USA Accelerator program, gaining hands-on knowledge, valuable connections, and inspiring experiences – marking the beginning of a new professional chapter.

Csaba Németh, a software engineer at the Digital Development Center, took part in the five-day U.S. Market Entry Bootcamp organized by USA Accelerator between March 30 and April 4, 2025. According to Csaba, the journey proved to be an incredibly inspiring opportunity to gain knowledge on international business development and market entry strategies. The program enriched him with both theoretical and practical insights, while also expanding his professional network – clearly marking the start of a new chapter in his career.

On the first day, participants were introduced to the University of Central Florida’s incubation program through presentations by Carol Ann Dykes Logue and Rafael Caamano. The session provided insights into how startups and innovative ideas are supported within Florida’s innovation ecosystem. This was followed by a presentation from Roger Colón (Central Florida Trade Office) on international market opportunities and business development. Later, attorneys Dr. Áron Szabó and Dr. Beáta Molnár gave a comprehensive overview of U.S. visa and legal frameworks – particularly useful for Hungarian entrepreneurs considering overseas expansion.

On the second day, the team visited the headquarters of Space Florida, where they gained insight into the region’s space industry developments and toured the Space Life Sciences Lab. Csaba described the visit to Port Canaveral that followed as a special experience, highlighting the strategic economic importance of the port to the region.

On the fourth day, participants learned about legal and labor market issues through highly practical sessions delivered by Imre Borsanyi, Eddie Fernandez, and Kimra Major-Morris. In the afternoon, the group toured the UCF incubator, where they had the chance to forge new connections.

The final day began with a lecture by the Vice President of International Business at JP Morgan, who spoke about the financial opportunities and challenges for global entrepreneurs. Later, the Bootcamp participants were officially welcomed at Orlando City Hall. According to Csaba, hearing the success stories of Hungarian entrepreneurs in Florida was a particularly memorable and motivational experience, offering not only inspiration but tangible lessons as well.

The week concluded with a relaxed wine tasting and networking event, where participants had the chance to enjoy an evening together in a friendly, informal setting.

For Csaba, the five days were not only professionally enriching but also personally affirming – proving that conquering the U.S. market is not impossible, only a matter of conscious planning and dedication.

“I’m grateful to the USA Accelerator team for this opportunity. I’m honored to have participated – and I’m certain this is just the beginning!” – said Csaba Németh, colleague at the Digital Development Center.
