Opening of the first building of the new MedTech Campus of Széchenyi István University
The facility also houses the research laboratory of the Digital Development Center (DDC).
The University is developing a completely new health technology campus from the disused building complex of the former Zrínyi Hospital in Győr. The campus will be home to the Department of Health and Sports Sciences and will offer a range of health services to university citizens. In cooperation with Semmelweis University, the first Pető Pont outside Budapest will also open its doors here.
In the first phase of the development, the DDC Research Laboratory has also started operations in the brand new building. The lab will host high-tech research, development and innovation projects aimed at the digitalisation of healthcare.
