Da Vinci surgical robot helps the work of Széchenyi István University and Petz Aladár University Teaching Hospital
They presented to the public a high-value asset purchased in the framework of strategic cooperation.
With the help of the Da Vinci robot, nearly a hundred operations have already been performed at the hospital in Győr. Experience so far shows that the use of this surgical device significantly reduces post-operative pain and speeds up the healing process. The robot, thanks to its sophisticated technology, makes the surgeons’ work more precise and safer.
The University’s Digital Development Centre (DDC) is working to further develop digital technologies that are revolutionising surgical interventions by filing patents and publishing scientific articles.
