DDC Colleagues Participated in the European ESD Factory Symposium 2025

The European ESD Factory Symposium 2025, organized for industrial and scientific communities, is one of Europe’s most important forums for knowledge-sharing and innovation, providing space for professional dialogue on understanding, researching, and applying ESD and EOS phenomena.

The European ESD Factory Symposium 2025 once again served as an international professional platform for representatives of industry and science, focusing on understanding electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical overstress (EOS) phenomena, as well as the manufacturing and technological challenges arising from them.

The event aims to promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration among experts from various industries—from microelectronics to healthcare—and to present new technological developments that contribute to safer and more efficient manufacturing processes.

The symposium consisted of three main elements:
Exhibition (5–6 November): showcasing the latest ESD protection equipment and measurement technologies.
Tutorial sessions (4–5 November): held in three levels, covering everything from the fundamentals to advanced solutions for understanding and managing ESD phenomena.
International symposium (5–6 November): featuring presentations, panel discussions, and professional exchanges with globally recognized experts.

The Digital Development Center (DDC) of Széchenyi István University actively participated in the event, which served as an important professional platform for the institution.

We are especially proud that Máté Liszi, professional staff member of the DDC, contributed as a speaker at the symposium, presenting the latest development and research results. Additionally, Dr. Ferenc Lilik, associate professor and programme director for the Electrical Engineering BSc and MSc programmes at Széchenyi István University, delivered a welcome speech at the event.

The symposium was organized in cooperation with international and national professional partners, including ESD FORUM e.V., STAHA, Széchenyi István University, and the Hungarian ESD Protection Association (MEVE).

Máté Liszi, professional staff member of the DDC, also participated as a speaker at the symposium, presenting the latest development and research results.

The event not only provided a platform for presenting industry innovations but also served as a valuable networking opportunity, allowing researchers, developers, and industry professionals to share their experiences and future-oriented solutions in the field of electrostatic protection.
