Experts from the Digital Development Center of Széchenyi István University Recognized at the Closing Ceremony of the 2nd Internal Affairs Drone Cup

The 2nd Internal Affairs Drone Cup, jointly organized by the Scientific Council of Internal Affairs and the Digital Development Center (DDC) of Széchenyi István University, took place between September 16–18, attracting hundreds of participants and 28 teams. At the closing ceremony, three DDC colleagues received recognition for their outstanding contributions to the success of the event.

Between September 16–18, the 2nd Internal Affairs Drone Cup was held, organized by the Scientific Council of Internal Affairs and the Digital Development Center (DDC) of Széchenyi István University, with professional support from Cloud for Intelligent Airplace Zrt.
The event aimed to showcase the latest developments in drone technology and strengthen the practical connections between law enforcement, research, and education.

The three-day event attracted nearly 700 participants, including 300 high school students, who took part in career orientation programs, drone simulator competitions, and interactive exhibitions. During the professional day, innovative demonstrations were presented in the fields of law enforcement, healthcare, and public education, while the competition itself focused on real-life, practical challenges.

II Belügyi Drón Kupa Elismerő Rendezvény

At the closing ceremony, the organizers and supporting institutions recognized several professionals for their outstanding achievements.

Among the staff of the Digital Development Center of Széchenyi István University, Dóra Szilli, Communication Specialist, and Olivér Takács, Deputy Director of the DDC, received certificates of recognition from the Scientific Council of Internal Affairs.

Miklós Máté Korcz, Head of the Drone Division of the DDC, was awarded a Parker pen commemorative gift for his professional excellence, presented by Dr. Sándor Pintér, Minister of the Interior.

The awards were handed over by Dr. István Sabjanics, retired police brigadier general and member of the Scientific Council of Internal Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ferenc Friedler, Rector and Scientific Vice President of Széchenyi István University.

Olivér Takács – Deputy Director of the DDC – received a certificate of recognition from the Scientific Council of Internal Affairs for his professional contribution.

Dóra Szilli – Communication Specialist of the Center – was recognized for her professional work in preparing and organizing the 2nd Internal Affairs Drone Cup.

Korcz Miklós Máté Elismerésben Részesül Szakmai Munkájáért A II Belügyi Drón Kupán

Miklós Máté Korcz – Head of the DDC Drone Division – received a Parker pen commemorative award for his professional achievements, presented by Dr. Sándor Pintér, Minister of the Interior.

For the Digital Development Center, the event represented not only a professional showcase but also a recognition of the team’s dedicated work and commitment to supporting innovative drone technology developments.
