The Digital Development Centre of Széchenyi István University and Telekom jointly developed a tracking system
For the first time in the history of the Kékszalag race, each boat will be equipped with a tracking device - developed by the Digital Development Centre of Széchenyi István University - which will use Magyar Telekom's 5G mobile network to ensure that the position of each competitor can be tracked live in real time.
Spectators, including family members and friends of the Blue Ribbon competitors, can follow the 56th Raiffeisen Blue Ribbon Grand Prix, which starts on 18 July, simultaneously on their mobile phones or computer screens.
The experiences and results of the Blue Ribbon project further strengthen the reputation of Széchenyi István University as one of Hungary’s leading technology and innovation centres. To be able to showcase our developments at such a significant event is a great feedback for us and an incentive for our future projects.
The official tracking site is: track.hunsail.hu.
